Projects and Funding Opportunities

PLAY Education is currently looking to partner with districts/schools/BOCES/communities and organizations with existing initiatives and projects or new ideas that need additional support in capacity building, sustainability planning, technical assistance and professional development. 


The Colorado Health Foundation has the following funding opportunity: 

  • Building and Bridging Connections Funding - "Aims to strengthen social capital and community-building efforts. These funds are intended to address health challenges and advance health equity."


The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has the following funding opportunity: 

  • Addressing Childhood Obesity and Health Inequities: Supporting, Sustaining, and Evolving the Field" - RWJF is interested in advancing efforts that will support, sustain, and evolve the work of organizations and communities that have been at the forefront of equity-oriented childhood obesity prevention. The CFP seeks projects with the potential to support, sustain, and evolve the field in promoting systems-level change to prevent childhood obesity, address structural racism, and advance health equity."
